Rizopoulou Anna

English Language teacher

Rizopoulou Anna

I am a graduate of the English department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from which I have also obtained a master’s degree in Theoretical linguistics. Moreover, during my internship at a Primary school of Thessaloniki, I attended the English lessons of the youngest students of the school. While I was a university student, I was giving private English lessons to young children, teenagers and adults. When it comes to teaching, my philosophy is based on listening the language at the first place and then observing it. In this way, the young learners have the opportunity to process and experience the language on their own so as to use it in the future. Some activities which I include during my lessons are team games, songs and videos that bring the young students into contact with the English language.
